Touch a creature. For the duration of the spell, the target cannot be killed by any means except utter disintegration. It will not fall unconscious if its hit points fall beneath 0. While it is under the effect of this spell, its health can go into the negative. If the spell ends while it is in the negative, its health resets to 0, it falls unconscious and must make death-saving throws. If the creature receives their entire health as damage after dropping beneath 0 hitpoints, their body is so damaged that they are incapacitated. If the spell ends while they are incapacitated in this way, they die.
The spell ends if you lose concentration or contact with the target or the tether connecting you is torn.
